On March 1, 2020, the President of the Russian Federation signed the Federal law “On Antimonopoly compliance”, which provides for amendments to law No. 135-FZ “On protection of competition”.
The purpose of the new law is to prevent antitrust violations and reduce antitrust risks.
Law No. 135-FZ “On protection of competition” introduces the concept of “internal compliance system with the requirements of Antimonopoly legislation”. Such a system should explain to companies what internal regulations they need to adopt and what measures to comply with in order to comply with antitrust regulations.
